Another surprisingly-clean area is the battery tray. There
is some discoloration of the metal but no rust. (The whitish substance is leftover plastic
blasting media.) The equivalent area on the passenger side of the car is also rust-free.
Interestingly, though, the small platforms immediately to the rear of these areas, where
the vibration dampeners mount, are both rusty. |
