This photo shows the extent of the rust perforation in the
passenger side "A" pillar, easily visible with the lower edge of the fender
removed.You may have noticed the different color the body has in these pictures
compared to the ones of January 9. In the most recent photos, the car had just returned
from its second trip to the media blaster.
This time, garnet, a harder material, was used to remove the rust. A side effect is the
slightly more textured (and differently-colored) surface.
