More than a parts van

Ray Langley of Sedro Woolley, WA purchased this Greenbrier from Don Arntzen of Bellingham, WA in July, 2007. Ray purchased #766 from Don at the same time.

Here's what Ray had to say about this van:

"Don found this van parked on a side street in Bellingham many years ago. I think he bought it to have a source of parts for #766. When I bought #766, Don threw in this rig. After I got it home, pressure-washed it, and cleaned out the inside, I realized it's much more than a parts van.

The engine that's now in #766 was stored in #268 when Don bought it and was originally intended as a replacement for #268's engine, which had been badly damaged in a fire. Alex Willard, a well-known Corvair guru in Bellingham, rebuilt it and installed it in #766 for Don."

Ray will be sending photos soon of this Greenbrier.
