Mountain Man's Van
Vance Piper
of Novato, CA purcahsed this '65 Greenbrier in the summer of 2002. This van came
from a very large Corvair collection owned by a reclusive gentleman in the Santa
Cruz Mountains. Kevin Thompson had a
good look at the van before Vance bought it. He had the following to say:
"The van is very nice on the inside. The roofline
has some rust through at the drip rail. Otherwise, it has
only minor dents are in the passenger doors and one in the back.
The odometer shows 99,852 miles and it was last licensed in 1986. it currently
has a 140 HP engine and an automatic transmission."
The van is currently stored
at the house of Vance's father.
