Into the Sunset
Shaun McGarvey of Port Coquitlam, BC
owned this '65 Greenbrier. It was in very rough condition so Shawn parted it out
and then scrapped it. Shawn did not save the data plate but he remembers that it
had the deluxe interior and was originally painted red with a white stripe. The
date code of the engine was T1119RU, indicating that Shawn's van was a 110 HP,
manual transmission rig. The build date of 11/19 fits very well with the van's
assembly month of December.
The engine went to
Terry Kalp of El Dorado, KS, to power his '65
Greenrbrier (#1341). It's nice to see one '65 Greenbrier helping get another one
on the road!
