Theo Main
of Joliet, IL purchased this Rampside via eBay from the estate of Marc Janét
in Norman, OK. Marc had owned this Rampside for many years. Theo was very
happy to find a PowerGlide-equipped Rampside. At the time Theo bought it, the
odometer showed around 97,000 miles.
After purchasing the truck, Theo said he worked on the engine a bit and
then detailed the engine compartment, including some new paint. Theo sent some pictures of his new truck in November, 2006:
In late July, 2007, Theo sent the following update:
"Restoration took me only 3 months (March - June
2007) from sandblasting to body work and paint. I changed it to have a interior
with the custom option. I got all my parts from Clark's Corvair Parts."
