Tom Jochem of Denver, CO is the newest owner of this Rampside. He bought it in April, 2003 from Roger Davis of Des Moines, IA. Roger bought the truck in Greenfield, IA at a swap meet. The seller told him that he found it at an estate sale in Yorba Linda, CA, where it had been stored for 18 years.

The Rampside had a 3-speed transmission and a factory replacement engine (indicated by the XXZ suffix on the engine date code) when Roger bought it. Tom has since installed a 4-speed transmission and has repainted the exterior. I hope to see some updated pictures soon!

(*) It appears that the dealer did not follow the prescribed pattern for the delivery date. From the serial number we know that the truck was built in December, 1963. The delivery date probably means January (01), 1964 (4). The correct code would have been 1 64.
